The Johnny Whitaker

Does anyone else remember growing up with Johnny Whitaker's Tom Sawyer? And it was Jodie Foster who played Becky Thatcher. I'll never forget painting that white fence. Or Injun Joe's cave. So scary, right?

He was also the geeky brother in Disney's Snowball Express.

This orange quilt could only be dedicated to Johnny Whitaker and that tousle of orange fuzz adorning his head. Between him and Ann Shirley, I wanted orange hair more than I could say.
