Here is my take on New Wave quilt pattern by Elizabeth Hartman on ohfransson.com. I bought 7 fat quarters that I've liked for a while and pulled from my stash at home. Her quilt went the other way because I added rows for size. Not a difficult quilt to make, and her directions were great. 
There were even some interesting shaped scraps left, so I made a simple baby quilt for my niece, who is having her second girl later this month.
