Here's another idea for leftover blocks. I needed some small handmade gifts (teachers, friends, stockings) for Christmas, and I started making mini quilts with my drawer of left over quilt blocks. I love doing this, because I get to rifle through my scraps, and in an hour I have a finished quilt, although only doll size. It reminded me of the fun quilts I've made and now I have something really special to give. Here's a few. I'll post more after the holiday - don't want to spoil any surprises!

I love that idea! I forgot to tell you, my friend who made my enormous quilt you rescued saved the scraps and made me a small baby one when Carden was born from the same fabric. Such a fun memory.
What cute mini quilts...I may have to try some myself! =)
